Max Richter's music for “Ad Astra” is definitely one that impressed me the most, my personal favourite score from 2019. The main theme (“To The Stars”) is beautifully rearranged in multiple tracks, and many others are very immersive thanks to a beautiful combination of orchestral components and electronic sounds, often creating a sort of “musical ambient”.
In this collection I mixed together more than 30 minutes of the score, a selection of my favourite tracks. All together, this medley has a majestic, inspiring and resonant mood that I love quite a lot. I used this specific mix to relax, study, read novels or simply doing stuff. I think it's very relaxing and I hope that by sharing it with you, also others will appreciate it, as well as the score and the movie itself.
This version, compared to the score-only one, features also Space Sounds in the background. I added them to make the musical experience even more immersive and give it a more “ambient” feeling. I hope you'll like it!
